French Designer Jeweler
On Thursday, January 30, in conjunction with the Scottdale Gallery Association’s weekly Thursday ArtWalk, French Designer Jeweler welcomes Master Goldsmith Barbara Heinrich, who will be returning to the gallery for her annual show and onsite to mix and mingle with guests that evening.
Heinrich grew up in Heilbronn, Germany, where she used to collect pods, snail shells and broken glass pieces to make jewelry. Revealing that the inspiration to make jewelry has always been with her, Heinrich views her work as an extension — and expression — of her life. Each unique piece is stamped with a small oak leaf, representing Heinrich’s heritage, as well as strength and endurance.
In addition to Thursday evening, Heinrich will be in the gallery on Friday, January 31 and Saturday, February 1 showcasing her most recent 18-karat gold and platinum jewelry collection as well as other pieces showcasing her signature ethereal style with super-light and super-thin strands of gold coiled, wrapped, swirled and knotted to create cuffs, necklaces and rings enhanced with semi-precious and precious stones. Her featured collection will remain on display at the gallery and available for purchase through Saturday, February 1.
